Cat Carriers And Strollers

Is a cat stroller in your cats future? No? Why not?
You may think that your cat won't enjoy a stroller, perhaps?

Besides it being a convenience for you when taking kitty to the vet, or when visiting other people, (You DO bring kitty for visits, yes?) your inside cat will get a new and more exciting life.

Imagine if you've spent years within the same four walls how boring that would be. Desperately boring. Maybe there is no place for kitty to get fresh air such as a screened in patio or balcony...

Imagine the mental stimulation and excitement when going for a walk in a stroller. The scenes, the smells, the views... all new and different and oh, so exciting. What a nice break of the old routine.

Maybe your cat doesn't like new things? Well, you may be surprised.

Getting your kitty used to the stroller in a slow gentle way first just inside the house, then maybe just outside the door or on the balcony, is a great way to start.

Putting your cat into the new stroller, taking her out into new sounds, and cars with honking horns would probably spell disaster. Training needs to be done gradually and
slowly.

Once your cat likes the stroller in the house, take her out late at night when it is more quiet. Go for a very small distance, only for a minute or two before bringing her back home. Try to avoid anything that would be scary and cause a negative association with the stroller.

Before you know it your kitty will come to you asking to go for a walk. :)

Getting a cat carrier, or a stroller for your kitty will be a lot of fun for you and your cat!
